Puttshack - Seaport

Puttshack combines an upscale restaurant with an indoor mini golf course. That means it's perfect for a birthday party in any kind of weather! The menu is full of kid faves like sandwiches, flatbreads, and more. The mini-golf is top-notch, too! Reservations can be made on the restaurant's site, and you can book private events for groups of 20 or more. Puttshack is best for kids 6 and up. The location opens daily at 11am. After 8pm the location is 21+ after 8pm.

Joe's Waterfront - North End

Joe's has traditional American staples that appeal to most kids, like grilled cheese and pasta.The grown-ups will love the steaks and seafood  The location is perfect, nestled between the waterfront, the north end, and Quincy Market. Joe's is a perfect spot for a party combined with a trip to the Aquarium. And the retaurant can accommodate small groups or large parties.

Barking Crab - Seaport

Only minutes from Boston Children's Museum, the Barking Crab is a destination for any occassion. The views of the city, the proximity to family attractions, and the incredible local favorites make it one of the best fun restaurants in town. 

Kings - Boston and Suburbs

With locations in the Seaport, Back Bay, and suburbs, Kings has the burgers and pizzas, to cater any size party. Larger groups can schedule a private event with any of the four locations in and around Boston. Kings also features private and public bowling lanes, arcade games and more. Locations open around noon from Friday to Sunday, 3pm from Monday through Thursday.

American Flatbread - Somerville

This isn't a bowling alley that serves pizza- it's a restaurant that has a bowling alley. The Salem location also has bowling. American Flatbread's menu includes crowd-pleasers like cheese and pepperoni and fun concoctions like "Flying Hawaiian" and "Baked Potato." The restaurant has vegan offerings as well  Book parties of up to 18 people (minimum of 8 from Friday to Sunday).

Dave and Buster's - Braintree, Natick, Woburn

The three local Dave and Buster's locations (Braintree, Natick, and Woburn) have enough video games to keep kids busy for months,  but the restaurant has tons of fun food. Whether ordering a la carte or catering a gathering, the pretzel dogs and mac and cheese will fit the bill for most young partygoers.
