Welcome summer and celebrate the North Shore waterways with a mermaid parade along the boardwalk at Sunken Meadow State Park.

The Smithtown Library hosts a festive event where kids can dress as merfolk, followed by a storytime and other activities. Families can also stay for a beach clean up after (all materials are provided).
