CANCELED CicLAvia - Koreatown Meets Hollywood
UPDATE: due to the predicted heavy rainfall, CicLAvia: Koreatown Meets Hollywood is canceled.
Koreatown: meet Hollywood. Hollywood: meet Koreatown. Walk, skate or ride on over!
The route connects four hubs: Hollywood, Western, Melrose and Koreatown.
CicLAvia is free to attend; participants are encouraged to jog, ride, bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, or spectate along the route.
Hubs have family-friendly activities, restrooms, free water refilling stations, free basic bike repair, bike parking, and first aid. In addition, free pedicab rides, sponsored by AARP, are available at each information booth.
The interactive map details activities along the route, as well as restaurants, landmarks and such.
CicLAvia is derived from a Spanish term for "bike path," and its goal is to turn LA into one big bike path, if just for a few hours. People are encouraged to leave their cars at home and bike, walk, skateboard, or push a stroller to discover our beautiful city at non-motorized speeds. CicLAvia offers a wide variety of activities for people of all interests and ages, including music, performances, food trucks galore, and more.
