When school is out and summer is in, Miami and South Florida have great options for sports summer camps for your sport-loving child to attend.

Whether you are in Palm Beach County, Broward County, or Miami-Dade County, there is a specialty sports camp option for you. Camps offered range from intensive training to more recreational ones. There are also options for multisports camps and those that focuse on only one sport.

Baseball Camps for Kids in Miami and South Florida

Nike Baseball Camp ELEV8 Baseball

Delray Beach
This three-day baseball camp focuses on hitting, fielding, base running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first-come, first-served camper spots, so please register early. With a 1 to 10 staff-to-camper ratio, campers are initially grouped by age and moved around based on skill level. Campers enjoy an outdoor facility and access to an indoor facility in case of weather. This camp is for kids ages 7-13, and runs from 9am to 3pm each day. READ MORE

This baseball camp has two age groups, one for campers in grades 1-6 and another for grades 7-8. It offers campers weeklong options from 8:30am-3:15 pm daily. The camp focuses on the fundamentals of the game, and players learn the proper techniques for catching, fielding, throwing, and hitting. Campers also play games to learn in-game situations. Nike Tennis Camp at Barry University

Miami
Nike Tennis Camp at Barry University is for players looking to have fun while improving their tennis skills. Camp is open to campers of all skill levels, ages 9-17, and lasts for 5-6 hours daily. The day consists of morning and afternoon tennis training with a 5:1 camper-to-coach ratio. Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience. There is a 45-minute evaluation on the first day of camp and players are seperated based on ability first, followed by age, if necessary. Adjustments can be made during camp. READ MORE

This tennis camp is designed for players ages 6-12, and players are grouped by age and skill levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your skills or an intermediate to advanced player looking to step up your game, this camp has a program for you. Players receive training from a staff that consists of USPTA-certified tennis pros, current/former college tennis players, and current/former varsity tennis players. With locations in Broward and Miami-Dade County, these weeklong camps are for kids 7-16 of all abilities and skill levels. The camps focus on improving individual basketball skills and off-the-court character development. Campers participate in a variety of competitions, fundamental drills, and games. On the first day of camp, campers are split up into teams of about 8-10 kids and assigned a coach. In the morning, players work on drills that simulate real game action and that will give them the tools and confidence to create their own shot, drive to the basket, and score in the low post.
