BRIC: Celebrate Brooklyn is a free summer-long outdoor concert and performance series that has been presenting talent from around the world and around the block for more than 40 years. Bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy!
2025 Highlights:
Saturday, June 14 - 4pm
Family Day: Celebrate iconic Swedish children’s book character Pippi Longstocking with beloved NYC klezmer band The Klezmatics’ accordion-driven sound. Pippi also comes to life through puppet performances by the Parks PuppetMobile and a musical read along by writer Jacqueline Woodson and Brownstone Brass presented by The Center for Fiction and Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, with support from the Swedish Consulate. Don’t forget your braids and boldest mismatched Pippi looks – costumes are encouraged for kids and grownups alike!

A Tribute to Quincy Jones: The Wiz. Bric's Quincy Jones tribute series wraps up with a magical outdoor screening of The Wiz! Come dressed in your Emerald City best and enjoy this beloved reimagining of The Wizard of Oz.
