Top Viewing Spots with Kids
Depending on the location of these fireworks shows we have listed, folks can get a vantage point from nearby spots as well. For example, if the show is being set off from the water, search for a shoreline park or beach to set up at. If a nearby village or township is hosting the fireworks, head to the closest LIRR train platform or empty store parking lot.
What to Bring for a Comfortable Fireworks Experience
Ensure your fireworks outing is stress-free by packing smart. From cozy seating to bug spray and snacks, these essentials will keep you comfortable all night long.
Because gates/grounds often open hours ahead of the big show in the sky, we advise bringing pop up chairs or cozy blankets, layers in case the weather cools at night, bug spray to keep the pests away, eat protection for sensitive ears, games to keep boredam at bay while you wait and a portable power bank to keep phones and devices charged on the go.
