Places to Host Baby's First Birthday Party in Atlanta

1. The Art Barn – Milton

Located on a working farm, the Art Barn is a magical spot for baby's first birthday. Birthday party packages include interactions with animals, such as brushing goats; a small, art activity appropriate for all ages; and a hayride. 2. Boomerang Play Center – Midtown

This indoor play facility features a special toddler area with a ball pond, climbing area, slides, and a carousel. Your child receives a special birthday gift and a dance with Boomer, the mascot, when you book a premium birthday party package. 3. Buck’s Sports Barn - Buckhead

4. Buddy’s Indoor Playhouse – Smyrna

7. Dino Dash Indoor Playground - Norcross

8. East Roswell Park - Roswell

Hosting a birthday party at a toddler-friendly park is a budget-friendly option for families. Reserve a covered picnic shelter at East Roswell Park, which boasts a playground, trails, and restroom facilities. Rent a pavilion and sprayground during non-public hours. 

9. Gymboree Play & Music – Sandy Springs

Gymboree Play & Music caters to kids between the ages of 6 months and 5 years, offering birthday party packages accommodating 10-15 guests. You bring the food and cake, and Gymboree sets up, provides entertainment, and cleans up.

10. Kids Avenue – Buckhead and Alpharetta

Kids Avenue features a make-believe city that sparks the imagination with sensory and soft play activities for younger children. Birthday parties last two hours and accommodate 10-20 kids with add-on options such as balloons and character visits.

The Music Class offers birthday party options perfect for babies and toddlers. Atlanta birthday parties include a 45-minute, instructor-led music session for up to 16 kids, time in the designated party room with snacks, and mini-maracas for each guest.

14. My Gym – Roswell

Specializing in kids’ fitness and tumbling classes for 4-month-olds to 10-year-olds, My Gym offers three birthday packages for an epic event. Each package includes use of the entire facility, two party specialists, gripper socks, balloons, and clean-up for 15 to 20 children.

15. Oodazu - Buckhead, Chamblee, and Decatur

Oodazu offers a soft play area for toddlers, as well as a space for kids ages 3-10 with trampolines, slides, and even a ninja warrior course. Birthday party packages can accommodate between 10 and 30 kids and include a private room, pizza, juice, party supplies, a party host, and two hours of playtime.

The facility decorates the private room based on over 20 themes, provides snacks and assistance during the birthday party, and cleans up after. 18. Scofflaw Brewing - Upper Westside 

Scofflaw Brewing is a unique, family-friendly venue for a birthday party, especially if most guests are adults. The large facility, featuring outdoor picnic tables, artificial turf, and games, offers kids plenty of open space to run around and play, while adults can enjoy craft beer and ciders.

19. Wiggle Giggle – Marietta

Host a birthday party at Wiggle-Giggle, a family-owned indoor play space in Marietta. Rent the party room with your own decor or book the full-service package, which includes a party attendant, themed party supplies, juice boxes, and snacks for up to 30 kids. The facility is best enjoyed by kids who are already strong crawlers or early walkers. 

20. Zoo Atlanta – Downtown

Young kids enjoy the petting zoo, the carousel, the playground, and of course, the train that covers the 40-acre property. Party packages are available for up to 16 attendees with pizza, water, snacks, and sweets in a dedicated party space.

Tips for Baby's First Birthday Party 

  • Many indoor gyms require signed waivers and all guests (including parents) to wear socks. Make sure to communicate that in the invitation.
  • Schedule the party during the best parts of your baby's day, not during nap time or past their usual bedtime.
  • Don't forget to bring your camera!
